| Deadlines, exams, essays, and pop quizzes are facts
of everyday life for most teens. That's why it's so important to figure out how
to maximize your study time so you can get your work done on dead line, at the
quality level you want, and still leave time for the other activities in your
life. You'll be surprised at how much you can get done when you take stock of
your particular habits and needs, and find a study schedule that works for
you.

The SPACE formula helps you sort through the physical piles in
your life: the clothes, books, papers, and stuff. The WADE formula
helps you sort through your many to-dos.
With so little time, how do you choose between
the massive number of tasks you face on a given day? See the W.A.D.E. tip in the

What's
working and what's not working
Choosing a Planner: Paper or
Electronic?
|
W.A.D.E. Tip
Write it down in your planner.
Add it up. Estimate how long each task will take. Break large projects
down into small parts for easier calculations.
Decide when you will do tasks. If overloaded, you can elect to delete,
delay, diminish, or delegate them into shorter tasks.
Execute your plan. Put your plan into action without being held back by procrastination or
perfectionism.
